Our available puppies and dogs are featured on our facebook page to ensure the list is current. All puppies and dogs are placed on medical hold until we know they are healthy and old enough to become part of a "furever" family of their own.
Pawzatively Canine places our rescued puppies and dogs into private foster homes to replicate a home environment.
In order to place our region's growing population of homeless puppies and dogs into forever homes, we adopt them into approved local homes or transport some to our northern partners. Please check on availability of anyone you are interested in.
Adoption
Our modest adoption fees help cover the costs of care such as surgery, medications, food, and other related necessities. Our fees are reduced or waived for military personnel and disabled individuals based on case by case review, in order to remove the financial burden required to get a dog's requirements met.
What is Transporting?
Pet transport is the transfer of adoptable pets from our over-populated areas to regions of the U.S. where demand for adoptable pets is higher. The ultimate goal of transport operations is to address the imbalance of the supply and demand of pets nationwide.
Generally speaking, transport pets originate here in the southern United States and travel north to receiving shelters, rescues, fosters, and placement centers.
Our canine transports are conducted on a shelter-to-shelter basis. In these instances, by the time the pet reaches the adoption floor, many times approved potential adopters have scheduled a meet n greet or adoption already.
Being a small foster based rescue, our furbabies usually have a family interested and waiting for them. If you are interested in more information or considering adding one of our puppies or dogs to your family, please submit a completed adoption application. That will help us match a potential adopter to one of our rescue dogs. Please visit our facebook page to view our furbabies. Link: www.facebook.com/pawzativelycanine
