At Pawzatively Canine, all of our puppies and dogs are placed on medical hold until they are healthy and old enough to join a “furever” family of their own.
We place our rescued animals into loving private foster homes to give them the comfort and structure of a real home environment while they heal and grow.
To help address the growing number of homeless dogs and puppies in our region, we work hard to find approved local adopters and also partner with northern rescues to ensure every animal gets the best chance at a forever home.

Adoption  
Our modest adoption fees help cover essential care costs, including surgeries, medications, vaccinations, food, and other necessities. To help ease the financial burden, we offer reduced or waived fees for military personnel and individuals with disabilities on a case-by-case basis. This ensures every dog receives the care they need while making adoption more accessible to those who serve or face additional challenges.
