It takes a village to help the numerous homeless and abandoned fur babies in our community. Together WE make a difference!!
Our mission of "Enhancing lives one dog at a time" is accomplished by rescuing abandoned, dumped, neglected, or feral puppies and dogs. We and place them into homes as cherished family members. Some of our dogs go on to become canine companions to children and adults with physical, emotional, mental, or other disabilities.
About us: We are an all-volunteer organization based in the Arkansas River Valley. We rely on fundraisers and donations from our community to save our fur babies. Most of our animals come from the river bottoms, country roads, rural cemeteries, rural city kennels, neglectful, or abusive situations.
Fostering saves lives. Private foster homes enables us to replicate a home environment to acclimate our puppies and dogs to living in a family situation. This helps us evaluate each dog's temperament, activity level, likes and dislikes, to best match your needs to the right dog.
There are several ways to foster: Traditional Foster - fostering until adoption; Transport Foster - foster until the dog/puppy is vetted and transported to one of our partners adoption centers; or Foster to Forever - fostering trial period to see if this is a good fit for you to adopt him/her.

Volunteers are always welcomed. It takes many people to cover the numerous tasks of running a rescue. We need help to transport them to veterinary appointments, organize and work fundraisers, participate in local events, and much more. Do you have some spare time to help?
